To all of you who braved the rain & wind to attend our annual workday & cookout! It wasn't too long after everyone headed out the trails before the downpour started but most continued to work in the rain just to get the job done! Totally drenched everyone came back to some hot coffee, chile, BBQ chicken & burgers & lots of other goodies that everyone brought.
Not everything on the list got done but we are thankful that we got quite a bit accomplished! Downed trees got cut up & moved, Alice's Alley, Ted's Turn, Franks Fancy, Gold Spike and other trails got brushed & trimmed. Sign posts were put up, the drag got sanded & painted & we all had a good time talking shop & sharing stories. A special Thank You to the Pulaski-Boylston & Redfield club members for helping. This was a wonderful gesture that shows the spirit of clubs working together as it should be. The election results: Mike Bellinger, VP; Mary Shadduck, Secretary; Frank Caldwell, Director were re-elected. Matt Westerland was newly elected as Director of the snowshoe group. Frank Caldwell, Mike Bellinger, & Keith McKittrick were recommended to the board as the trail committee. Again, thank you to all......it was a great day! Carol
