_The Winona Forest Recreation Association grooms and maintains over 55 miles of the best multiuse trails you will find on "The Hill". For snowmobilers, they connect to the 8000+ miles of NY State Corridor snowmobile trails. Winona Forest has been one of the best kept secret riding places in upstate New York with annual lake effect snow of 200-300 inches. Premier, pristine trails are impeccably maintained for snowmobiling, cross country skiing and mushing. So, when your riding here in winter, you may be sharing the trails with sled dogs & skiers. Everyone here lives together to enjoy the forest so please respect everyone's right to use the trails all year long!

Important Snowmobile Information

_Sleds must be registered in New York. To register, visit the DMV website. If you are a member of a club, registration is $45. (You must have a club voucher to confirm club membership.) If not, you must pay the DMV $100.
