__ Home to the 2012 Empire State Snowshoe Championship, Winona Forest's more than 50 miles of groomed, wooded and scenic trails are a favorite with snowshoers of all levels. With an average 200-300 inches of annual lake effect snow, Winona's premier, pristine trails and forests are just waiting to be explored. Pick your favorite trail, or head off into the forest to break your own, the winter scenes you will encounter are striking.
