Winona Forest ATV trails connect the Oswego County trails to the Jefferson and Lewis County trails. This is your only legal link between these systems......treat them with care and respect and enjoy the ride!
WFRA trails include Jefferson County Reforestation, town, county, and private landowner property and are designated on the map below in orange. Winona Forest ATV trails are only open April 1 - October 15.
Winona State Forest is governed by its Universal Management Plan (UMP). WFRA and its volunteers do not designate trail usage. These are decisions made by NYSDEC. All other trails and roads within the Winona State Forest are closed to ATVs
